Karl Hinck, 72, of Ahualoa died Feb. 11 at his home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was retired from the Department of Planetary Geosciences, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Services pending. Survived by wife, Mary Hinck of Ahualoa; and daughter, Rhiannon Hinck of Honokaa. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Hifumi Ishimoto, 80, of Honomu died Jan. 28 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a billing clerk in a doctor’s office and was a member of the Honomu Hongwanji, East Hawaii Hiroshima Kenjinkai, and the Kamana Senior Citizens. Private services to be held. Survived by daughter, Laurie (Markus Grohs) Yoneda of Honomu; brother, Jitsuo Ishimoto of Paukaa; sisters, Fumie Jyo of Hilo, and Shirley Gushiken of Kalihi; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Margaret Gatti Jensen, 93, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 11. Born in Paris, Texas, she was a secretary/manager in the amusement industry of Phoenix, Ariz., before settling in Kailua-Kona in 1988. Private services. Survived by husband, Paul Jensen; and son, Joseph M. Gatti, both of Kailua-Kona. Arrangements by A Hui Hou Crematory & Funeral Home of West Hawaii.

David Alan Krebs, 42, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 1 at the Kona Community Hospital. Born in Wichita, Texas. No services. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
